We loved the food at Stillebach Biohotel. Breakfast has lots of choices, there's soup or cake in the afternoon, and in the evening you can choose a meat, vegetarian or vegan dish. There's also a restored mill on the grounds where they serve delicious bio-pizza. The rooms were cozy, the staff friendly and helpful, and all the food was delicious. On rainy days, you can use either of the two saunas or book a massage, which I'd really recommend. The hotel is centrally placed, so you can reach anywhere in Pitztal in a 20 min drive or take public transport. The Sommercard programm is another great benefit, with free access to the bergbahnen and public transport. That saves a lot, since a bergbahn can be quite expensive. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

The hotel is very clean and well appointed, with a lovely range of food for everyone. There are vegan, vegetarian and regular menus every day, and the owners are lovely and run a tight ship. It's set in one of Austria's less traveled valleys, a good choice for a less crowded, active holiday surrounded by nature. You can walk from the hotel or head further up or down the valley, and the bus service is easy and efficient. The glacier, lakes and other mountain areas offer plenty for families to do. We'll definitely be back!

The views are the only reason I didn't give this one star. The meal was probably one of the worst I've had, and still quite pricey. I'd rather have had a greasy kebab or a hot dog. We were told to sit outside even though there seemed to be plenty of space indoors. The staff were mostly friendly, if a little confused. There was table service, but we still had to go up to the bar to place our order.

We're here for 12 days and really like it. The people are so warm, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The only thing that might matter to some people is there's no internet in the rooms, though there is in the restaurant and sitting area. It's a beautiful nature getaway...
