Kreischberg Pool Villas & Penthouses by ALPS RESORTS

A warm welcome and a nice place.

We were there in the quiet off-season, October 17th to 22nd, 2025, in apartment 2A. The ground-floor place had its own garden and private pool. It wasn't fenced, so there wasn't much privacy, though that didn't bother us. The kids liked the pool and we enjoyed the sauna. It was very comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and checked in now and then over WhatsApp to make sure everything was okay. We'd love to return!

The lack of privacy was a big issue for me. The houses are packed close together, so you can see straight into neighboring rooms, and they can see into yours. It was also very noisy at night, sometimes unbearably so. There's officially quiet time from 10 pm to 7 am, but people didn't observe it and apparently nobody enforced it. Anyone hoping to rest won't find peace here, and I don't even want to imagine peak season or winter. Penthouse 4C itself was spacious, clean and well maintained, with plenty of dishes. But despite the generous balcony, there wasn't proper furniture: no chairs, loungers, bench or dining table. In summer, a group couldn't eat outside. Such a shame if you want an outdoor holiday.

We loved Apartment 2a so much in summer that we booked again for winter right away, and can highly recommend it. The pool was lovely and had a counter-current system, and there was a nice sauna. The view of Kreischberg mountain was fantastic. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a dishwasher and everything else we could need. One bathroom had a bathtub, which was handy with the children. Reception staff did their best to help with our requests, though in summer they were only there for a few hours a day.
