The massage was pleasant, and the hotel is conveniently close to the ski slopes, but the rest of our stay was disappointing. The name Relax Hotel didn’t fit our experience. The wellness area’s rules weren’t enforced, and the small pool was almost unusable by evening. The sauna area was meant to be age restricted, yet it was full of children and wasn’t peaceful. Slippers were available only if requested, though at this price I’d expect them to be included. Dinner could be a problem if you didn’t arrive right at 6:00 PM, since some dishes ran out and weren’t replenished. We had to find our own table, and it often hadn’t been cleaned or set for the next guests. With better organization and rule enforcement, this place could be good. I’d sooner recommend it to families with children.

The service made our vacation especially lovely, particularly the care we got from Laszlo. He checked in with us every day to make sure we were comfortable, and his upbeat attitude brightened our stay. The hotel was a wonderful place to spend our holiday. Thanks for having us, and especially to Laszlo for making us feel welcome!

We’re already planning to return next year. A ski lift is only 100 meters from the hotel, and they provided heated lockers for our skis and boots, which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were included, and we were completely happy with the menus. We came to ski, not to explore food.

This was our third stay, and we’ll gladly come back again. The staff are polite and helpful, and the waiters are especially communicative. The restaurant has a good range of buffet choices for both breakfast and dinner. There’s also a spacious restaurant, an indoor pool, saunas, massages, a games room and bar, a ski room, and a children’s room. The gondola to the Kreischberg slopes is very close.

The rooms are nice and clean, but that’s the only good thing I can say. The food was worse than the cheapest canteen’s, with leftovers being recycled and most items apparently coming straight from the freezer. Communication with the staff was difficult because their English and German were both very poor. At checkout, make sure you know exactly what you owe so you can avoid any surprises.
