Gästehaus Steinmetz

Super!

It worked well for my business trip and was good value for money. The room was clean but very minimalist, with just a bed, nightstand, small table, and chair. I wouldn’t choose this hotel for a vacation. The view wasn’t great, and the street runs right in front of the building with no sidewalk that we could find.

We really appreciated the shared large refrigerator in the common room, and the big sun terrace is another nice option for breakfast. Breakfast itself left nothing to be desired. The nearby supermarket was a huge plus, too. We could even get drinks there outside opening hours on Sunday. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the owner provided a dog bed for our dog. This is a bed and breakfast, with everything needed for an overnight stay in the rooms, including a TV and hairdryer. Any extra requests can be arranged at the shop or discussed with the owner. The price feels fair for what you get.

There’s an ADAEG supermarket and snack bar on site, and breakfast is included and very good. The bathrooms have been newly renovated. It’s an affordable guesthouse in the south, near the Hungary and Slovenia border triangle. Booking through Booking.com is quick, though it’s best to reserve early since the rooms are often full.
