The room was warm and clean, though it felt dated and worn. We stayed one night, and the location worked well for walking the dogs. The restaurant and bar were closed on Sunday; we only found out after booking, when we read the welcome letter for the opening times. That same letter and a sign at the entrance said breakfast ran from 6:30 to 9, but when we asked reception in the morning, we were bluntly told there was no breakfast. We chose the hotel partly so we could eat early and get back on the road. Really disappointing to advertise a service that isn't provided. Not worth the money.

The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best I've had while travelling. Everything was fresh and tempting, presented beautifully, and the lovely view from the hotel made the morning feel special. The room was the opposite: very shabby, and the floor covering really needs replacing because it spoils the impression. Since the hotel is so pet-friendly, I did wonder at times whether the rooms are kept to a “pet standard.” 🙂 The breakfast alone will stick with me, though the stay was a real mix.

We only stopped overnight while travelling from Greece to the UK, but it was well worth it. The place is quiet, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. There's plenty to do in the area, so you could spend a holiday here.

I pulled in by chance while driving and needed a suitable place to rest, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere was nice, the staff friendly, and everything felt clean and comfortable, with good food and drink. The breakfast was probably the best and most plentiful I've seen in the German-speaking world. I left the next morning feeling at ease with the world.

We were here for the same occasion a year ago, the IronMAN in St..Polten, and I remember appreciating everything then too, both the food and the staff's attitude. So welcoming, and absolutely delicious! Thank you, guys, don't change a thing! :))
