It's a shame when you can't count on a promise. We arranged an 8 a.m. breakfast with the owner because we still had 1,000 km to drive, but nobody was there then and the inn was completely empty. I think only one other room besides ours was booked. We left without breakfast and got something from a local bakery instead, which was very good. The room itself was okay for a reasonable price, though we had to pay in advance. It was also very hot and on a busy road, but there isn't much you can do about that. When we asked for extra towels, they were brought right away.

Parking is limited, and the rooms are noisy from the highway and the cooling units that keep running. The rooms are old and in very poor condition. Everything feels overpriced, with extra charges for everything, and the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I stay in hotels for work all the time, but I won't come back.

Our group was pleased with everything. The pre-ordered meals arrived promptly, and they brought drinks for our bus right away. The host welcomed us with a good sense of humor and kept us entertained with a few stories. The food was very good.

I stayed here three years ago and had a better experience then. On a trip that takes me several kilometers from home, I want to feel comfortable, and I didn't here. In Room 4 there was no hot water after 8 p.m. on a Tuesday, and there wasn't a dinner menu that evening either. That was pretty annoying. The kebab place around the corner or the pizzeria across the street would've been a better choice. Someone else might find it okay, but I thought it was awful.
