Camping Village Wörthersee

We pitched our tent in a nice, spacious area. The bathrooms are well maintained, better than at lots of places. Just note that there’s no wifi at the camping area if you’re without electricity.

There’s a private spot by the lake for swimming, and the restaurant serves good breakfast from 7:30 in the morning. The campground sits up on a hill, so you can look out over the lake. For a good lake view, choose a pitch from 60 to 53. We slept fine even with the road above us. Otherwise, the second lane, pitches 43 to 50, is another option. It was pretty comfortable overall, and the showers and restrooms were clean and well maintained.

The terrace pitches have a great lake view, and the campsite is definitely a nice place to camp. The meadow area is spacious, with a small toilet nearby, though it smells and isn't the cleanest. The larger bathrooms aren't great either: the hot water keeps switching from boiling to cold, and all the toilet seats are loose. For one night, it’s acceptable. I wouldn’t want to stay for a longer period.

The lake view is beautiful from some parts of the camp, and the wifi is okay. But our caravan pitch was occupied, as was the spare, so the reservation system was chaotic. The caravan space itself is small. Shower water turns hot unpredictably, and in the evening the water stopped completely. There’s no sorted waste. We were disappointed after better experiences at other camps.
