I’m not usually one to leave a bad review, but this was the strangest rental experience I’ve had. I rented an apartment for three nights to ride Schladmig Bike park. A friend came by for the day, not to stay overnight, and left her things there while we rode because it was pouring outside. When we got back, she went in to shower before catching her train. The owner suddenly came into the apartment without warning, yelling that my friend had to leave within 10 minutes or she’d call the police. I was in my underwear and felt very uncomfortable. While inside, she also started going through my clothes without asking to see if they were wet. My wet things were outside in the garage. I tried to explain that I wasn’t trying to take advantage of anything, and that we’d gladly pay any extra fees if needed. She wouldn’t listen and kept threatening us. After my friend left, the owner continued harassing me, trying to get into the apartment, which I had to lock from inside, and leaving notes on the front door. The owner’s behavior was very awkward and aggressive. It was the worst experience ever. I hope this review saves someone else from a bad time in a place that’s otherwise really fun for riding.
