The spa is a real highlight, especially the new infinity pool with its magnificent mountain view. Julia gives guests a superb welcome, and Gunter even drove one of our group to another resort in Wahrain after our stay. It’s a lovely family-run hotel close to the slopes, with modern, very clean rooms. Breakfast was splendid, though the evening menu was disappointing by comparison. The bar is a great place for a drink, with lots of beers and local liquors. Don’t forget to ask for speck. Looking forward to coming back one day.

Skiing here was amazing, with ski-in/ski-out access to the Schladming area. We stayed for a week over New Year 2017/ 2018, five adults and one six-year-old, and were hugely happy with everything from start to finish. The hotel has three bars, a small bowling alley, and a spa, though I didn’t use the spa so can’t comment on it. Rooms were spacious and modern, and breakfast and dinner were great every day. The staff were polite and hardworking. It was nice to see the same people daily and get to know them. I ski for a week every New Year and take weekend trips during the season, and I’ll definitely return.

The rooms, setting, and view are fantastic, the best I’ve seen in a while. The internet was the one major drawback for me. If you need a reliable connection, look somewhere else.

We ate at the restaurant and were the only people sitting outside in the glass enclosure. The staff were polite, the food was good, and it’s simple fare. They serve local beer. They didn’t check for an antigen test, which we were required to have within 48 hours at the time.

It looks almost brand new, even though it’s already a few years old. Getting onto the slopes is easy with ski-in/ski-out access, and the breakfast and food in general are very nice.
