Haus Margit

The host was really friendly, and the view was very good.

We still talk about how comfortable the bed was, even after staying with Margit twice, each time with a companion. She welcomed us so warmly and made breakfast with care. If you need a place before visiting the Spes Hotel right next door, I’d happily recommend staying with her. I’d book directly instead of using Booking.com, though. It costs less than booking through Bündchen and leaves more for the accommodation provider. A fantastic experience!

We were on a business trip and arrived late. By the time we saw the room and the conditions, it was too late to find somewhere else, so we paid and stayed. I told Margit what had happened. She just put the money away, smiled, and that was that. Outrageous. The room smelled horribly of feet. The shared toilet was very dirty and had pee on it, and the shower and bathtub were dirty too. The bed seemed used, with mismatched bedding and a different pillow. There was also a bed in the room where breakfast was being prepared, with a half-naked person asleep in it. The breakfast was very poor and badly deteriorated. This is a huge disappointment that costs money. Nobody should have to stay here.

Expensive and bad. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The room smelled horribly of feet, the bathroom was dirty, and I don't even want to describe the toilet. Someone was sleeping in the room where breakfast is prepared. Maybe it's only suitable for people who've slept in the forest before. Stay away.
