Marlene and Walter Moosbrugger made the place feel like home. They’re warm, attentive hosts, and the house and rooms are kept very clean and in good shape. I spent almost a week at the guesthouse with family and friends. If you enjoy a cozy, authentic place, this one is for you. Breakfast is simple but a great way to start the day. We’ll definitely be back!

The owners were lovely and made sure I felt at ease. They let me keep my motorcycle in the garage at no extra charge.

The location is fantastic for exploring Vorarlberg and the surrounding area, and the price matches the quality. Pension Marlene has several kinds of accommodation, from single rooms to houses with their own kitchens. Our room was well maintained and, above all, clean. Breakfast was good and served buffet-style. We also appreciated how friendly and respectful the communication was. We can certainly recommend this guesthouse. Compliments to the Moosbrugger family. We’ll be back in 2025. We first came to Schoppernau nine years ago to explore the Bregenzerwald region and stayed with the Mossbrugger family. Since then we’ve become regular visitors. Their warm welcome and hospitality always make us feel at home.
