A perfect spot for cross-country or downhill skiing. The spa and wellness area was very nice, the food was great, and the staff were both friendly and professional. We’ll see each other again!

For a hotel of its size, the wellness area is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. It’s a wonderful little hotel in the Bregenzerwald, with very good catering and good value for money.

The massages were excellent, and the sauna area was okay. Our rooms were clean, though the bathroom felt dated and the hairdryer occasionally overheated 😉. The barbecue evening was really good, but the curry with rice was a complete no-go for me. I suspect it came with a ready-made sauce or something. There was a general lack of care, from the plates and breakfast buffet to the hotel itself, and the afternoon buffet could use improvement. In the evening, our waiter was so unfriendly that I ended up keeping track of our wine myself after we had been left with empty glasses for quite a while. He gave the impression he didn't want to work at all. Tomas, in contrast, was friendly and kept trying to chat with us. We wouldn't book another spa stay here. From a 4-star+ hotel, we expect more.
