The valley views and quiet setting were a big part of what we enjoyed, while the village center is still close by. We stayed in simple, clean holiday apartments in an old farmhouse, so sound carries a bit through the thin walls. The elderly owners live downstairs and are incredibly kind, as is their daughter, who mostly looks after the apartments and lives with her family about 50 meters farther up the hill. The children had lovely grounds to roam around, could visit the horses whenever they liked, and could ride every day if they wanted. The owner enjoys riding with them. Some of the toys are getting old and could do with replacing. There’s a big barn for storing bikes or a bike rack. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our daughter’s favorite part was getting to ride a horse every evening. We also found the location handy for exploring on foot, and with the Montafon Leisure Ticket we could go on our outings without the car. We weren’t in the main building, but our apartment was spacious and very nice, with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed. Thanks for the warm hospitality and a wonderful time. We’ll definitely return!

The apartment was lovely and cozy, and the location worked perfectly for us. It’s about a five-minute walk straight to the slopes, so you can ski back, and roughly ten minutes on foot to the center. We were welcomed warmly and communication was super friendly.

It’s easy to reach despite the stunning panoramic views and beautiful setting. The holiday apartments are lovely and very well equipped, but what stood out most was how friendly and accommodating the owners were. We’d happily come back.

Our week in the “Zimba” apartment was wonderful, and it was very clean. From there you get a lovely view over Schruns. It feels a little tucked away, though the train station is only about a ten-minute walk and you’re still right in the middle of things. Children up to 12 have a playground with a trampoline, sandbox, and little ride-on vehicles. In the evenings they can groom and ride Candy the pony and Ronja the Haflinger. The landlady was friendly and accommodating, and we’ll definitely be back.
