The scenery around the city is beautiful, and I’d gladly stay here again. I was driving from Prague to Tuscany and needed a place to sleep on the way. It was one of the budget options, but it turned out better than I expected. Room #9 was spotless, including the shower, and seemed recently renovated and well cared for. I went for a run in the morning to stretch, and getting a late checkout was no problem.

Our room had an old-fashioned feel, but it was comfortable and well kept. The host was very friendly and entertaining, and the location was great. Breakfast offered plenty to choose from: sliced cheese, ham, bread, jams, spreads, liver paste, honey, muesli, boiled eggs, cucumber, tomatoes, tea and coffee, and possibly more.

Dinner was a real highlight. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and as good as what I’d expect at twice the price. Highly recommended. This is a traditional family-run hotel with lots of character. My single room was perfectly fine, with a nicely modernized bathroom, and the private car park behind the building is a great plus.

The owner was very kind, and the place itself was nice. We stopped here while driving from Berlin to Italy. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, though a little dated. There was also a very good free parking area behind the hotel.
