The house was wonderful, the food was good, and the service was great apart from the manager/owner. I’ve never seen anyone less suited to a service job. I need to call John Cleese and ask him to make Fawlty Towers part 2.

The staff were kind and attentive the whole time, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in the Austrian Alps. Our modern, luxurious room came with a private sauna and a huge terrace looking out over the mountains. We enjoyed every moment and would love to return. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a suite for a week, and out of the 50-plus hotels and Airbnbs I’ve visited, this easily lands in my top five. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was thoughtfully laid out with high quality finishes and lots of lighting choices to set whatever mood you want. The sauna was amazing, and the views from the room, pool, gym, and restaurant were beautiful, basically everywhere. The restaurant was superb. They handled all our requests, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the ingredients were high quality. The shuttle service was a great extra, and meant we didn’t have to think about logistics. The staff and service were the biggest reasons it felt like such good value. Everyone brought so much joy and was genuinely helpful and nice. I definitely want to come back in summer for some hikes!

We rented e-bikes from reception for a day exploring the area. The price was competitive with local bike hire, and picking them up right at the hotel was handy. We also had half-board, with a choice of three-course dinner each night from a varied menu and a specials board. Herman's kitchen was top notch, and breakfast was excellent. We’re a family of four with teenagers, and just spent four nights here. The place is incredibly beautiful and feels luxurious, with no expense spared. We were blown away by the size of our chalet and all the details: a private hot tub facing the mountains, a sauna and walk-in shower downstairs, and a Nesspresso machine in the kitchen. The Scandinavian-style, sophisticated interior and huge windows kept the impressive surrounding mountains in view. We don’t want to leave, just one more swim in the infinity pool before we go.

Our chalet had two comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, balcony, sauna, hot tub, and a kids’ room, all spread over three floors. I took loads of pictures because it felt like I’d found my dream house. The care put into every detail extended to the restaurant, outdoor areas, and pool. Breakfast and dinner were phenomenal. Before meals they brought out a special tray: pastries stacked in a tower at breakfast, and freshly sliced meats at dinner. We often took dessert back to the chalet and finished the evening under the stars on the balcony. Go now, don’t wait. You’ll see the Alps and eat far too much, while the mountains call you out and the chalet’s incredible comforts pull you back in. It’s the kind of hotel that makes it hard to leave.
