This is about the restaurant. I had the pork ribs with grilled vegetables and enjoyed it, though it was just on the edge of five stars. The portion was good, and while the ribs weren’t the most tender I’ve had, they tasted good and still came away from the bones. The vegetables seemed steamed or something rather than grilled. They were okay, nothing more. For that dish, I thought the price matched the quality, though some other menu items might be less convincing. The staff were good. I strongly recommend booking for dinner, since they usually don’t have free tables. It was fine, but wouldn’t be my first choice in Seefeld.

We got a warm welcome despite making a last-minute reservation. The service, staff, and food were all perfect. We ordered Rosa gebratener Hirschrücken, Käsespätzle, and Apfelstrudel, and enjoyed every bite. It was our first time trying deer and we really liked the flavor. Thanks for giving us a lovely memory of our last night in Seefeld. 🩷

We came here twice during our stay in Seefeld and were delighted by both the food and service. The staff are so welcoming you feel like a regular, and the food is so tasty it feels like you helped prepare it with the chef. To us, it’s the best traditional restaurant in Seefeld. It’s usually packed, so booking ahead is a good idea. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!

The food was good, but the end of dinner left a bad taste. The waiter made us feel guilty for not tipping, which isn’t how you want to finish a meal. In a blaming tone he said, “OK, so I wasn’t nice...” and then sarcastically added, “very generous...” He walked away with his head down and didn’t say goodbye. Very professional and mature!
