The family who own this restaurant treated us so kindly, and you can really feel the warmth of a family-run place. We had the schnitzel with kartoffelsalat, and it was a highlight of our trip to Seefeld. We’ll definitely be back soon!

The food completely won us over. The Wiener schnitzel was world-class, crisp outside and tender inside, and even the simple potato was surprisingly good. The spaghetti was delicious too. We came looking for Austrian Schnitzel in Seefeld and got everything we wanted, with lovely service as well. If I could, I’d give this restaurant six stars. It’s a must-try, and I’d love to return.

The meals the chef and owner made for our group are ones I’ll remember. I spent three nights here while touring Europe with a US school band, The Sound of Texas, and this hotel gave me moments I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. The recently remodeled interiors felt super modern and far more luxurious than I could normally afford. I also got to know several generations of the family running the hotel, and they were all wonderful. I’m grateful to all the staff who looked after us. Austria is now my favorite European destination, and I’ll definitely try to stay here again when I return.

The food was excellent, and both the wine and location were good. Then came the forced bad exchange rate, which managed to ruin a great experience. Set your prices however you like, or ask for a tip, but don’t tell customers the exchange rate is “automatic” and can’t be opted out of. Priceless, in the worst way.
