We came on a Monday and had the place almost to ourselves 😀 The room was fine, but the shared spaces are what really stand out. Make sure you try breakfast: the eggs and bread are worth it, and the Austrian woman looking after guests was lovely. She even knows the hens by name 😀

The wine cellar alone makes a stay here worthwhile, and the lounge, pool, and breakfast area are great too. It's a family-run hotel, and the owner was especially kind and thoughtful.

We loved the welcoming staff and would happily return. Our room was spacious, and the whole place was clean and full of character, with a lovely lounge to unwind in. Breakfast was a treat each morning, with homemade things and special requests taken care of. The hotel's own cellar had good wines, too. We couldn't use the pool because it was still too cold. We stayed eight nights, and would highly recommend it.

Mr. Vogel made the place feel like stepping into another world. The old house has romantic, roomy, beautiful rooms and a fantastic wine cellar. There's also a newer, modern living room for relaxing, plus a small pool in front for cooling off in summer. A dream.

It's peaceful at night, and the central location makes it easy to walk to many places. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished, and the owner and staff are attentive and very friendly. Breakfast is thoughtfully laid out, with plenty to choose from, and the coffee is full-bodied without being too strong. We always like coming back.
