Apart Bergkristall

We were two couples and each having our own bathroom was perfect. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It's on a quiet side street but still close to everything, with parking in front of the building and the train station 150 meters away. There's a bread delivery service, fresh towels during the stay, and a very warm, helpful landlady. We felt comfortable throughout and will definitely return. Thank you!

The owners run the house in such a friendly, easygoing way, and we still have very fond memories of our stay. We’re hoping to come back for a ski holiday soon. They heat the house with wood from their own forest, which they explained is almost CO2-neutral, and the underfloor heating kept every room so warm that they recommended T-shirts instead of sweaters. We were three men in the “smallest” apartment, but its clever layout made the 50 sq m feel like plenty. There were two proper bedrooms with double beds, a big clean bathroom, and a roomy living area with a well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable sofa, side table, large dining table, and balcony. The whole place was very clean. Outdoor shoes stayed downstairs in the ski room, which has a boot heater and racks for skis and boards. There’s also a second room with a larger kitchen and seating for about 16, handy for getting together if all three apartments are booked as a group.

The apartment does the basic job, but the missing ski room or cellar, and no heating in the rooms, are serious shortcomings for a ski resort. At this price, guests should also get Wi-Fi included instead of being charged €7 per device each week.

We’ve been coming to Serfaus in both winter and summer for years, and Apart-Bergkristall is our regular place. The owners are super friendly, it’s very family-friendly, and the furnishings are modern with everything you need. So we think Simon B. must have stayed somewhere else. Go and see for yourself.
