The Poacher's Pan is worth trying, and they take card payments too. This is a lovely inn in a small village, right beside Sigmundsherberg train station. The service was friendly, and the food was excellent.

The food is amazing, and the place feels warm and welcoming. I travel for work on some very complicated shifts, but they always make things easy for me and greet me with a huge smile. They treat you like family. I’m even thinking about sightseeing nearby just so I have a reason to visit them again.

I only stopped in by chance and wasn’t expecting much from a place in this town, but the food was really excellent. There’s an attached butcher shop, everything is organic quality, and the vegetables are regional. The poppy seed cake with whipped cream and cranberries was superb.

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was very good. The two smokers were a nuisance, though. Why is that necessary in an otherwise high-quality restaurant?
