We had a great three days of skiing in Sillian and enjoyed our stay at hotel Gesser. The rooms and everything else felt new and were very clean. Family Gesser were polite and welcoming hosts. The food was very good, though there’s a little room for improvement. There’s a nice ski room, parking, and a bus stop right outside; the gondola is only a short drive away, or you can even walk. Sexten ski area is 10 minutes by car. The hotel also has a nice sauna you can use during the day, just ask, plus a small relaxation area. Great service for a 3* hotel. We hope to return. Thank you.

We spent several days here in mid September. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the service was flawless. Dinner options in the evening were outstanding, and breakfast was the highlight of the stay.

From check-in through dinner and breakfast, everything was just perfect. Hotel Gesser is family-run, and the owners made us feel truly welcome. Everyone was so nice and helpful, including with advice on where to find the best cross-country skiing. Our room had everything we needed. Great value, highly recommend.

The rooms were nice and the food was great, and the family were lovely, especially Frau Gesser! My only negative was the hard beds, if you don't like that…
