Weitlaner Birgit

We come back every year because this place is truly lovely. The owners are very kind and speak Italian, and the small apartment is spotlessly clean. It's made for two, has everything you need, and sits somewhere very peaceful with a bike path just a few steps away.

Birgit and her family are so kind and helpful, and the price is very affordable. The studio is for two and sits in a quiet, green setting. It has a double bed, a shower bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, a toaster, coffee maker, stove, oven, and a 4-star fridge and freezer. Truly excellent. We return every year.

The sofa bed is a little uncomfortable, but the place is practical and intimate, with a kitchen and bathroom. Just across the border, Birgit offers a cozy little hideaway in complete quiet. It's surrounded by woods, with the Drava nearby, and there are walking trails and cycling routes around, so it's nice for a stroll. The Italian and Austrian towns are only a few kilometers away. Worth trying.

Great value for money for 1-2 people, and a small place that works perfectly for a digital detox. Skip it if you need Wi-Fi or mobile service.
