Hotel Jagdschloss Resort

We stayed in a superb apartment overlooking the slopes, with a sauna and infrared room. The hotel has a nice bar, the food is very good, and parking is free. The lift is literally a 2 minute walk away. For ski hire, Gerber Sports is in the same building. It’s a 10 minute walk uphill to the middle of Kuhtai, though there’s also a good pizzeria on site. It isn’t cheap, but the quality is very good. Rent a car and head to Solden for a day or two if you want a much bigger area.

The staff hospitality is what really sets Jagdschloss Resort apart. Vincent, Eleftheria, Tony, and many others made it stand out. The ski-in ski-out setup is excellent, and the location and facilities in Kühtai are great. There’s also a ski stall for equipment storage almost right beside the on site rental, so don’t overlook it.

We came with friends, and the hotel took care of everything we needed, from ski rentals and the restaurant to the spa and terrace bar. Great location and amenities, with an extremely friendly, accommodating team. Would love to come back.

Breakfast was GREAT, and so was the SAUNA. The accommodation and location were excellent, and staying here was a great experience. My only small regret was that the restaurant stopped serving food at 8:30 pm. Still, there aren’t many customers at 2000 meters in summer. Thanks for hosting us, and respect to the service staff changing sheets on those wonderful, beautiful beds with their tricky geometry!
