The food was good, and the place felt like very good value for a reasonable price. The houses looked a little worn, but the staff were friendly, and the views and kids' playgrounds were really nice.

The bathroom is the one drawback, with its small shower and curtain. If that doesn't bother you, though, you can have a fantastic holiday here. It's a lovely hotel with kind hosts, and the rooms are clean and roomy, with balconies and beautiful mountain views. Good for families with children.

Breakfast comes with lots of homemade treats, and you should pre-order meals. We had a cozy, clean stay in a quiet area that works really well for families. The pool was spotless and great for cooling off, and the hosts were friendly, with a good sense of Austrian humor 😉. We'd be happy to come back.

We picked this place at the last minute, and the retro style surprised us at first. We ended up liking it, though. The Gasthof is in a somewhat secluded spot, so it's completely quiet, which is ideal for families with children. Our apartment was large, clean, and well equipped, with a balcony facing the mountains. There's also a children's playground and a fairly large swimming pool.
