A CASA Opal

We had a good time despite a few things that bothered us. The location is great, close to everything, and the house itself is simple, nothing special, but fine. A CASA didn’t feel very helpful, and the staff seemed dispassionate, like it was a mass-market operation. The place was dusty when we arrived, and there was black mold in the bathroom corners, so ACASA should check the cleaners’ work. They charge 10 euros per towel replacement, which they blame on the environment. That excuse would be believable if it weren’t such a commercial joke.

The Opal apartment in Sölden was perfect for a relaxed holiday with family or friends. It has spacious rooms and a fully equipped kitchen, plus an excellent Italian restaurant nearby for nights when you don’t feel like cooking. Highly recommend it, and I’ll be back soon.

We stayed in summer 2023. The accommodation itself was beautiful, and the view was lovely, but there wasn’t much else to feel positive about. Hundreds of flies were inside the apartment the whole time, and there were no fly screens or other measures to deal with them. Basic household supplies were missing too, including garbage bags, baking paper and enough toilet paper. There was no laundry service unless you booked it for an exorbitant fee, and fresh towels cost a lot as well. Communication with the property management was very difficult on every matter. It ended with the cleaning staff entering our apartment two hours before our departure date without permission and asking us to leave. We were only told about charges such as the final cleaning after we’d already booked and paid a deposit.

We were on holiday with the family and found the apartments well equipped and tastefully furnished. The amenities were better than we expected, and there was everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended, super!
