The host, who owns the place, was amazing and very helpful. This beautiful guest house is in the heart of Sölden, with lovely rooms and a great view. Best of all, you step outside and you’re right on the slopes. Ten out of ten.

The location is fantastic: the ski lifts and slopes are right next door, and the free valley shuttle is less than five minutes away and runs from morning until late at night. We found the hosts very friendly and helpful, although German isn’t spoken in Austria and it wasn’t always easy to find someone to talk to. We got a last-minute apartment at the Chrisantenhof guesthouse. For the price, it was very spacious, with two double bedrooms that each had their own bathroom, a hallway with a wardrobe, and a large eat-in kitchen. Everything was very clean, though not brand new. That was fine, as the price reflects it.

There’s a small free lift up above central Sölden that makes getting to dinner or the shops in the evening easy. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the ski room is right by the entrance.
