Haus Benjamin

Booking.com confirmed my reservation and later cancelled it, reportedly because the apartment had been booked for the full week. Yet the owner's own booking site still showed it as available, for €74 more. That seems very suspicious.

The landlords kept coming into the apartment through a back door without being invited. They'd knock and be inside two seconds later. We asked them to use the normal entrance and wait for a reply, but they ignored that request and did the same thing the next day. It's very unpleasant knowing the landlord can walk into a rented apartment whenever he wants. That's disrespectful and unacceptable. Other guests have described exactly the same incidents on various booking platforms.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, quiet, and very well equipped. They even provided kitchen supplies like dish towels and dish soap. It's easy to get to the ski bus, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. Thank you, dear Gstrein family, we felt right at home!

I stayed there with three friends one summer before the pandemic. It was a great apartment, and the service was very friendly. We made good use of the Ötztal Card too. I'd definitely return when I get the chance. Highly recommended!
