Our room had a big balcony and a fantastic view, plus good wifi, and we felt safe and well looked after. The place is family-run, so it has a homey feel, and it looked even better in person than in the photos. Everything was very clean, with rooms tidied daily. The owners were so friendly. It’s close to everything and the ski lift, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice, fresh coffee, and eggs, just right before a day skiing. There’s also a steam room, sauna, and heated ski boot holder.

Obergurgl is a perfect village, and this hotel was a great fit. The owners were super nice and the service was top quality. We enjoyed the breakfast, location, rooms, and spa. Really nothing more to ask for, I’d recommend it to anyone staying in obergurgl!

Michael, Margot and Veronica, along with the rest of the family, made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough to make the stay memorable. The accommodation was warm, comfortable, and super clean, with a convenient spot near the lifts. They’re a credit to Austria.

We’ve chosen this guesthouse for a second visit, and once again it feels like home. We used to stay mostly in the larger hotels in Gurgl, but came back here by choice. Michael and his wife run it with real care and enthusiasm, helped by their family, and that gives the place a personal, welcoming feel. The rooms are modern and very well kept, and there was always parking available. The cable car and nearby restaurants are easy to reach. Breakfast stood out for its regional organic produce and the care put into choosing and preparing each item. We’ll definitely return and are happy to book again.

I visited in summer and found the rooms neat and clean, with a delicious breakfast. The owner was very welcoming. Summer guests get an Ötztal Card, which includes free access to all open lifts and public transport.
