We were seven people sharing three bedrooms and a kitchen-dining area. For what we paid per person each night, the value felt right, as long as you keep expectations in check. The bread service was excellent. You choose the amount the day before, and can ask for a mix of Kaiser rolls, multigrain triangles, and pumpkin seed rolls in whatever proportions you like. Wi-Fi was reasonably good in the kitchen, but didn't reach the bedrooms and wasn't strong enough for watching Netflix on a laptop. I also missed having a place to sit together in the evenings, though cards or board games would make for a fun night. At the end of March, we could ski to the slopes on day one, but by the second day the snow had melted too far back, so it was a short walk instead. The Zentrum Shuttle was an easy ride into Sölden. Despite what the website says, it ran from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., not through the middle of the night, and it was free to use.

Friendly service, too. The apartment is near the slopes, and the owner also has a mountain hut where you can have a nice meal in the sun.

A quiet spot with a good location. The apartments are good, the sauna is stylish, and there's a generous breakfast buffet. You can put your skis on right outside the house.
