The lady at the restaurant welcomed us so lovingly and gave us perfect service. I can’t remember her name, but she deserves to be remembered! They were wonderful and flexible about our need for celiac gluten-free food. Thank you!

We ended up coming back the next evening, then had lunch on the terrace before leaving, enjoying the sun and the view. We’d come to soll for just a few days at the end of winter and found this restaurant on our first night out. The food was amazing, and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. To me, the decor is just what a traditional Tiroler family restaurant should look like. The food photos speak for themselves. Wine lovers will find an endless list too. We tried an amazing Austrian wine ❤️ and hope to return.

My friends and I had a deeply unpleasant visit to the hotel bar. Right when we arrived, staff in traditional dress looked us up and down with disdain, and we felt like outsiders. When we tried to pay by card, the woman behind the bar scoffed and said they took cash only, “just like we do back home.” Yet local customers were paying by card without any trouble. Then the same server leaned in and whispered, “You shouldn't have come to our country if you can't respect our ways.” We were shocked by what felt like a blatantly racist remark. Customs vary, but they shouldn’t be used to discriminate or make visitors feel unwelcome. The bar needs to rethink its policies and how staff treat guests from other countries. Save your money and the hassle for somewhere more welcoming. This place is a disgrace to hospitality.

The hotel is very nice, though busy. It’s a pity the menu for hotel guests wasn’t the same as the one offered to people who weren’t staying there. The wellbeing area was excellent. My only other concern was that the sauna clothing rules weren’t explained very clearly to British and Irish guests, who need to know that clothes aren’t worn in the sauna.
