Affordable and just right if you need somewhere to sleep for a concert or motor show. The hostess is accommodating and very helpful, breakfast is generous, and the conservatory is lovely. The rooms are quite basic and have an older style.

The hosts were friendly and so accommodating that I never felt I was missing anything. I thought the stay offered excellent value and would definitely visit again. I also liked having rental bikes available, a feature I've often missed at other places. The location is ideal for relaxing at the end of the day while still being easy to reach. Before this visit, I wasn't much of a horse person because I'd only known them from the menu. Seeing them here showed me what graceful animals they are. The rooms have been fully renovated, with a nice mix of modern and rustic style. It's a shame the photos don't show the place as it really is, since that does the riding stable a disservice.

They looked after us exceptionally well, and the place was perfect for our golfing weekend. We'd definitely return.

Clean, good rooms, a kind landlady, and a good breakfast. What more do you need?
