A perfect base for exploring Salzkammergut, about half an hour from Salzburg. From Salzburg, it’s a two-hour train ride to Munich, Vienna, or Innsbruck. The mountain lake views are the most beautiful, and the hosts, Annemarie and Fritz Stadler, make you feel at home. The apartments are cute and comfortable, well built, maintained, and furnished.

The hosts were very nice, and the rooms were lovingly furnished and very clean. We’ll definitely come back next year.
