Landhof Kreuzsalgut

We were given a smaller apartment than the one we’d paid for and stayed there the whole time, even though the owner just said that was how they did things. The tourist info in Wagrain eventually helped resolve it. The place is quite far from town, so going out for dinner means driving or taking a 20-minute walk with a headlight. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped, and there were no rubbish bags.

The hosts were helpful and welcoming, and the sauna was wonderful. Our room was very clean and well looked after, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the beautiful views. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay despite a few small things missing, including scissors, ordinary lemonade glasses, and a little kitchen knife. The accommodation was well maintained, and we enjoyed the table tennis and badminton. It was nice that salt, pepper, and sugar were provided. Rain kept us from swimming, and the rubbish sorting instructions were hard to follow because they were in a foreign language and the packaging wasn’t self-explanatory. A simple list saying which item goes where would help.

We felt very comfortable during our August 2024 stay. The rooms were spotless, the balcony view was fantastic, and my son loved the pool. The two landladies, mother and daughter, were very kind and helped with all our questions. We visited Salzburg, rode several chairlifts, one free with the guest card, saw the beautiful Jägersee and a stunning waterfall. We’ll definitely come back, and I’m grateful for the lovely stay. I can also highly recommend the shamanic practice. It helped me a lot, and I learned a great deal. Thank you, Maria!
