Hotel Fischer

We found the St. Johann Guest Card really useful. It includes a free ride up and down the Harschbichlbahn cable car, three hours of free daily entry to the Panorama Badewelt, and discounts and benefits at local attractions. The hotel is right in the heart of St Johann, and the music festival was literally on our doorstep. Our family had interconnecting rooms on the second floor, which worked perfectly, and the hotel provided a baby cot when we asked. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. Nathan and Sinead were wonderful, helping with extra pillows and our heavy luggage, always with a smile. Breakfast was excellent, and the bags and wax paper for packed lunches were a thoughtful touch. We also appreciated the free hot drinks and pastries in the afternoons. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely return.

We stayed for two weeks, and the team, led by Michael and Monica, made it a really special experience. The breakfast and housekeeping ladies were friendly and attentive, and Nathan at the bar clearly loves his job and getting to know the guests. Our room was spacious with great views, and the wellness area was a nice place to unwind. We’ll be back one day. Highly recommend this family-owned and run hotel.

Nathan was especially helpful, and the staff were excellent throughout. We spent Christmas week at the Fischer Hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. It’s a lovely hotel in a great location, with clean, well-kept rooms, a good bar, and comfortable seating. Breakfast offered hot and cold choices, plenty to fill up on before skiing. Dinner had two options each evening, all prepared to a good standard.

Everyone working here was friendly and helpful, and Nathan at the bar was especially kind. He made my solo holiday a lot better. My room had everything I needed, and the hotel is in a great spot in St Johann, with everything only a short walk away. A great hotel all round.
