I’ve been coming back to this warm guesthouse since 1998, and I’m already looking forward to another visit. Birgit is the family guesthouse’s front desk person, and the cozy, friendly atmosphere is hard to put into words. To me, this place feels like part of the village soul of St. Johan.

Birgit and her family always make us feel welcome and give us a wonderful stay. St Johann is such a good base for exploring some great parts of the Tirol. I’ve been coming here for 11 years and love it, though I almost hate leaving a review because I’d rather keep the place to myself.

A lovely place with lovely people. You can book a room with breakfast or stay in an apartment, and it’s a handy base for seeing Tirol.

The location works well for exploring the nearby ski areas. I’ve stayed here a few times and have always found everyone very friendly.
