Appartementhaus Schartental

There’s a great view from the room, and lots to do nearby. The rooms themselves are quiet and comfortable. I also liked the amenities: a fireplace lounge, sauna, large pool, children’s play area, and a separate room with heated ski boot racks. One thing to plan for is payment: it’s either a bank transfer in advance or cash, since cards aren’t accepted.

The pool was a real highlight, especially at this price, and there’s also a sauna and bread delivery service. The holiday apartment was clean and sits in a lovely spot. The playground disappointed the children, though. The website photo shows a colorful play hill, slides, and a playhouse, but those aren’t there in reality. We also never received an email beyond the booking confirmation.

The pool and tennis court add to the stay, and the weekly barbecue has become a tradition. It’s easy to see why so many guests return. We find the place cozy, friendly, and welcoming, and we’ll definitely be back.

We’ve been spending our winter breaks here for years and always feel at ease. It’s a quiet, well-kept apartment building with a pool, sauna, and play area for children. A great fit if you want to relax away from the bustle.
