I booked a riding adventure week despite being a first-time rider, and the lessons ended up being the highlight of my trip. The trainers were amazing, and Vita the horse made the experience unforgettable. I can't imagine topping it elsewhere, so I hope to be back next summer with better weather. Tirol was new to me, and the hospitality was everything I could have hoped for. Everyone on staff was friendly, professional, and caring toward guests and their animals. Breakfast and lunch were tasty, with local products and recipes, and the indoor gym came in handy on rainy days. I'm really happy with my stay and could write a book about how good it was. I'd absolutely recommend the hotel for a holiday and for riding lessons in the area. Thanks to all the receptionists, riding trainers, Mr. Waiter, Mrs. Waitress, Mr. Car Driver, and everyone who made the trip so special.

The location worked well for getting between Steinplatte, St Ulrich, and Fieberbrunn, though this may not suit you if you don't like horses. Prices are moderate, the rooms are tidy, but the TV is really small. Breakfast was good, with lots of fresh fruit and granola. The ham and cheese selection was OK, and the coffee was standard filter coffee. Half pension came with either a really big buffet, including very good soups, salads, and verhackerts, or a choice of three different meals. The spa could be better. There's a steam bath, a hot sauna, and an infrared cabin, but no good views, relaxing music, or water, so it's best to bring your own.

The restaurant kept us happy from hearty breakfasts to lunches and superb dinners, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a wonderful family holiday at the Stasserwirt. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and couldn't have been nicer. I can't praise them enough for making our stay so enjoyable.
