We spent 7 nights at the end of July in das Urgestein-house Schiefer. The house is beautiful and the spa is nice, but at this price the stay was extremely disappointing. Cleaning was poor, with dust, broken glass, and leftover wine. Some equipment, including the Alpha sphere and lights, was broken and never fixed. Promised amenities were missing, including the petting zoo, and the kitchen was poorly equipped. We paid for extra items, but they weren't ready when we arrived. The renting company replied quickly on WhatsApp, yet the service was slow or ineffective. I sent them full feedback and never got a response. It wasn't worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it or return.

The lady at reception was really kind and friendly. I stayed in Apartment Genis, which has a mist sauna that's easy and nice to use. The kitchen was great for cooking, with lots of dishes and cooking tools, and everything was beautiful and clean. The historical building has been fully renovated and feels super cozy. For the price, I couldn't have imagined this quality. I'd like to come back for a longer stay someday. This apartment is perfect.

Had a great time at the Urgestein Hotel with my friends. Our apartment had modern decor, a decent kitchen, and an Alpha Sphere room where we could relax. The ski lift in Zell am Ziller is about a 30 minute drive away.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and considerate of my needs. They couldn't have done more for me. The self-contained apartment was pleasant, with its own kitchen, bedroom, and lounge area.
