Getting to the ski lift takes only about five minutes on foot, so there’s no need to drive or queue, which made mornings especially easy with kids. The ski pass and ski school prices were very reasonable, probably the best we’ve paid. We were two families and loved the chalet, with its thoughtful design and excellent equipment. The sauna, views, peace and lovely downstairs space all made the stay even better. Communication with the team was excellent before and throughout our visit, and the service was at a really high level. This was our favorite winter accommodation. If the size and location suit you, I’d book it. We’d love to come back next year.

We found this to be the cleanest and most practical chalet I’ve stayed in, and I genuinely have no complaints. Getting to the pistes was the main reason we came. They’re close enough to walk to, though it’s downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back. That’s not ideal in ski boots, but manageable, and the short distance makes it hard to complain. There’s a big highway above the area, but the cars didn’t bother us at any time of day. The little river was much louder. We arrived late at night and used a code to get the house key, so we could go straight in and settle down. We checked in the next morning. Staff were very friendly, and we barely needed to contact them. They were available at reception every day if anything came up. When we left, we just returned the key, with no waiting around or paperwork at the front desk. House no. 4 was clean when we arrived in winter. The beds had fresh sheets and towels, and there was enough closet space. A cleaning kit was by the sink, and there was a washing machine and vacuum. The rooms and bathroom had plenty of conveniently placed power outlets. In the bedrooms, the main light had switches by both the door and the bed, which was handy. The bathrooms were modern and very clean, though supplies were sparse: two or three rolls of toilet paper and dispensers in the shower and by the sink, but no soap in the separate toilet. The hot water came quickly. Heating was on before we arrived, but the first floor had no heating and the bedrooms were quite cold, probably around 10-15 degrees. The warm sheets were enough for us. The kitchen had a coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, and the pots, pans and other things needed to cook. There was an ashtray on the terrace, and one bedroom had a folding crib for a baby.

The chalets sit right at the foot of the ski resort, with beautiful valley and mountainside views. They’re fantastic, and the staff were more than accommodating.

The sauna is GOATed, and Bergeralm station is right next door. Since this is an AirBnB, I didn’t rate the service, as far as I can tell there isn’t really any.
