Be careful to check your bill before paying, or consider staying elsewhere. This was the worst service I’ve experienced in Austria. The “director” was aggressive and rude, and tried to charge us for things we hadn’t ordered. There was no customer focused attitude at all. We’d booked the spa and a room for a birthday, but the hotel didn’t even offer a simple spoken birthday greeting. They made no effort to make us feel welcome. The owner’s response reflects the same attitude we encountered: instead of hearing customers out, they start arguing and defending themselves. I attached a receipt showing what happened. I did not order “Schuss Zitrone.” When I asked about the charge, the “male director” said “no one has ever had a problem with this small amount,” even though I hadn’t ordered it. Does that mean he’s done this often? This might not have been my most recent visit, but that doesn’t make the experience any less valid. I like to take time to calm down and think before reviewing, so I can describe things honestly and without emotion. That makes the feedback more responsible, fair, and valuable. Honest criticism shouldn’t be dismissed as “fake” just because it’s negative. I regularly write positive reviews for good places and only leave negative ones when it’s really necessary. Unfortunately, this remains one of my worst experiences, both at the restaurant and at your so called spa hotel.

The spacious room was spotless and had a remarkably comfortable bed, and the meals, breakfast included, were consistently excellent. It may be worth considering an upgrade for an even better room experience. Christkindlwirt itself is a beautiful property. From check in through the whole visit, the staff were courteous, kind, attentive, and professional. We had a wonderful, memorable stay and were thoroughly impressed, especially given the current circumstances. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christkindlwirt Hotel.

The menu didn’t change across the two lunches and two dinners we had during our two seminar weekends, and the food quality and service didn’t justify the high prices. They charged 3Euro for a glass of tap water. The director was aggressive, impolite, and unprofessional. They also tried to bill us extra for the room and add a cancellation fee, despite our special seminar deal. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I came away feeling so much better after the amazing massages. I’d lived with back pain for years, and now I’m free of it. The restaurant food is just fantastic, and the people are super sweet and take care of your wishes. We stayed two nights and loved this place. We’ll definitely book again, I can’t recommend it enough! ❤️

We had a package with an hour in the private whirlpool, which was a nice way to relax and get away from stress. The wellness area is pretty small, but clean and enjoyable. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and dinner was delicious. We’d definitely recommend staying here, thank you!
