We were so happy with how our wedding at hotel Minichmayr went. The food on the day was excellent, and the service felt both professional and charming, so we could just enjoy ourselves while everything was handled for us. Our guests came from around Europe, and from our first meeting, the head of restaurant Mr. Rammer spoke with us in English and made sure our wishes were taken care of. It’s nicely located and easy to reach from the airport or by car. The view where the Enns and Steyr meet was beautiful, too. Everyone we met from arrival through leaving the next day was pleasant and friendly. A big thank you to everyone at Hotel Minichmayr. We’ll come back for our anniversaries and recommend it to every couple we meet.

The restaurant food was the letdown. The meat cuts seemed cheap, and classics like Semmel Knödel tasted mass produced instead of freshly made as you’d expect. It was very average, disappointing for what could be a really decent classic hotel. The room was average but clean, the location was nice, and the staff were friendly enough.

I loved the calm and quiet here, and the night view is hard to beat. The staff were very friendly, too. I’d give it four stars because there’s no air conditioning, so it could get hot in summer. Otherwise, I’d fully recommend it.

Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the continental buffet breakfast was good as well. Some rooms look out toward the two rivers and Tabor hill. There’s a public parking garage nearby.

The building is beautiful, but the rooms don’t live up to it. Wi-Fi reception was very weak, which made getting any work done frustrating. Breakfast was good, though it was the same every day, and the employees were friendly and ready to help.
