The host, who owns the family run place, went out of her way to make us feel at home and gave us excellent tips for excursions around Steyr. The hotel is on the outskirts of Steyr center, so I had a pleasant 40-45 minute walk to and from the center each day through nice scenery. Rooms were tidy and clean, with daily service. Breakfast was modest but more than enough to get the day started. I’d recommend it if you’re planning a visit.

Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh, varied food prepared with care. The room was comfortable and beautifully furnished, with a lovely garden view to wake up to. Everything feels thoughtfully arranged, and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. You feel a sense of space and calm as soon as you arrive, with room to breathe and leave everyday life behind. The host family are warm and welcoming, and put a lot of care into their guests’ comfort. It felt like home, with the resident cat adding extra charm. The location is quiet and also well placed for exploring nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
