For a very good price, I got an apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, toilets and a shower. I know it’s not high season, but still, that’s a nice price.

The balcony was huge, with a beautiful view over the entrance to the Zillertal valley. Inside, the apartments are spacious, very clean, and have everything needed for self-catering, so we felt comfortable there. The noise is why I’d take points off for the location. They’re right beside a busy road, railway tracks, and the station, so it’s loud both day and night. With the windows shut it wasn’t a problem, but if you sleep with them open, bring earplugs.

We booked two apartments at the Gasthof Post inn for a group ski trip in the Zillertal valley last weekend. The location by the train station, at the entrance to the valley, worked really well. We got a very warm welcome, and all the staff were friendly and attentive to our well-being. We’d gladly come back.

The family room is compact but practical, and the price is excellent for what you get. From the balcony, we were blown away by the view of the mountains, the green valley, and the Zillerbahn cable car. The location is central, making sights like Lake Achensee and Innsbruck easy to reach. The hotel apartment is managed by the neighboring Gasthof Hotel Post. A big thank you to the friendly reception staff.
