The hotel looks nicely decorated inside, though the dining room and exterior feel quite ordinary. The staff were very nice, and the place was quite clean. Our room was cold in December, and we couldn't adjust the heating ourselves, so a portable heater might be useful. It also smelled a bit because it was right beside the dining room. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows weren't, and we could clearly hear the neighbors talking through the walls and doors. We didn't enjoy dinner, which tasted quite ordinary, and there was no salad buffet, a big drawback for half board. Breakfast was nice. The sauna itself was okay, but its tiny rest area only fits six and was always occupied, so after each session we had to return to our room. The location might be good in summer, but it didn't matter to us in winter. Overall, this felt unsatisfactory for a four-star hotel.

The room was missing working bulbs in most of its lights, and there was no mini fridge. The double bed had two mattresses with a gap in the middle. The receptionist was unfriendly and couldn't even speak her own language. The restaurant's food wasn't very good, and it doesn't deserve four stars. The hotel doesn't even feel like a three-star place.

The wellness area was good, and the restaurant food and breakfast were tasty, with a nice waitress. It's a nice hotel in a lovely region, though the rooms don't have air conditioning.

Dogs aren't allowed at the lake, but there’s a bike path through the forest by the river where you can walk for a few kilometers. The food was great, the staff friendly and helpful, and the nature was lovely.
