At the Gasthaus Sonne, the Swabian classics taste just right, and the food is fresh with generous portions. You can tell they care about good ingredients and proper cooking. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere makes you feel welcome, and the service stays warm and attentive even when the restaurant is packed. For honest food, good value, and a family feel, this is a great choice.

We had dinner at the restaurant three times, and the service was excellent on every visit. The food quality was outstanding, especially the Arctic char, which couldn't have been better. The price-performance ratio was fantastic. Thanks to Andy and his wife 🥰🫶 We'll be back! 👍

The evenings at the card table with host Andreas and the regulars, the Martins, Jens, and Kalle, were a real privilege and incomparable. The Sonne isn't a grand hotel, and that's the point: it's pure Austria, honest, authentic, charming, and spotlessly clean, with fantastic value for money. Highly recommended. Watch out for the elderberry schnapps, it's addictive!
