Rooms 73 - Helga Bartos

The rooms were excellent and very clean. We were out most of the day and mainly used them for sleeping and breaks. Our balcony/terrace was very large, and we could also have used the garden. They let us store our own bikes too. The landlords were especially friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Breakfast was perfectly fine, with fresh cold cuts, rolls, and fruit each day, and they kept replenishing it. The location is a little close to the main road, and front-facing rooms can be a bit noisy. By car or bike, it’s just a few minutes to the supermarket, the beach, or Pörtschach. Highly recommended. We’d definitely book here again!

I stayed here for almost two months for work, and the room was cosy, the location quiet, the views excellent, and the kitchen and other amenities more than adequate. Helga and Harold, the owners, were very friendly and attentive. It was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, and I have no complaint about anything else. The bed was the one downside. The mattress was too hard and the pillows uncomfortable, and sometimes I woke up with back pain. I still 100% recommend it.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and you feel comfortable and well looked after here. Lake Wörthersee is only a 200-meter walk away for a swim. Pörtschach is a charming town with good shopping, and there are good restaurants nearby too. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is here. We’ll be back...

The owner was so friendly and always ready to help with questions or requests. Everything feels welcoming, and the place is lovingly designed and furnished. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the beds comfortable, the Wi-Fi works perfectly, and breakfast is delicious too. It’s also an easy trip from the train station and supermarket. We’d love to come back! 🫶🏻
