Hotel Oberhofer

The shuttle to the ski slope was handy, and the front desk staff were helpful in person. A phone call got a good response too, though nobody replied to the emails I sent before arriving. The place seemed short-staffed and not fully operational. They advertised a restaurant, but it stayed closed one evening because there weren’t enough guests, so we had to head back out into the cold and dark and walk to the town’s only other restaurant, a pub. The service there was lovely. The indoor pool is beautiful and has a great view, but there were no towels. The bartender on our first night was friendly and great, though the bar was missing basics: they couldn’t make a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned. When we left, the front sidewalk hadn’t been shoveled, so we dragged our luggage through the snow.

Ryan made a real difference to our stay. He was especially helpful, put us at ease, answered all our questions, and knew the local area well. The rest of the staff were friendly too. Our studio had everything we needed for a ski trip, and the room was modern and roomy. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well kept. We’d definitely return to Hotel Oberhofer.

We’ve just got back from a ski trip and would happily stay here again. The hotel was immaculate and the services were brilliant, but the staff really stood out. Ryan, the barman, was attentive, always smiling, and a pleasure to be around. He made us feel welcome throughout.

The staff made us feel at home, and they were so welcoming to our dogs. We chose the hotel because it was dog friendly, and that was a big part of why we came. The duplex room was cosy, the mountain view was wonderful, and the spa has a sauna, hammam, and physiotherm, plus an indoor pool. Breakfast was incredible, with cheese, salmon, fresh fruit, cake, eggs, and more. It’s about 30 minutes from Innsbruck, but well worth the trip. One of the best hotels in Europe I’ve stayed in.
