I stayed at the Schwarzer Adler vulgo Grischeler quite a while ago. Looking at the recent reviews, it seems little has changed. The hotel and its staff and service were all very ordinary. I didn't particularly enjoy my stay.

The inn seems quite nice when you first see it, which makes this a shame. But a basic schnitzel costs €14.90, and that really isn't appealing. There were just three dishes available, with no menu anywhere to show them. You don't find out how high the price is until the bill arrives, when it's too late.

The owner was unpleasant and very rude to me, and harassed me in front of the other guests. A waitress kept asking whether everything was okay while laughing at me. I can't recommend this hotel. You can find somewhere to stay in Telfs for the same price.
