Appartments Stefania

I've already been here three times for my yearly ski week in Austria, and I'll be back next year without a doubt. The staff are super friendly, the location is great, and the shared living room is cozy and lovely. We've always had a great time there.

I regret to say our stay at Apartments Stefania was disappointing and below what we expected. This review is for the house next door, apparently also owned by Cristian and his family. We were a group of eleven looking forward to a ski holiday that met the standards you'd expect in the Austrian Alps, but both flats were very basic. We had no ski storage, uncomfortable beds, cold rooms during the day, and poor Wi-Fi. There was either no hot water or getting it to the tap required a special trick: running the basin tap and shower tap together. We had first booked the main villa, but for reasons we don't know, our host suggested the neighboring house, apparently assuming its living conditions were similar. The price stayed the same, and we were asked to pay the full amount on our first day. The basement flat was shocking. I was lucky to choose a room in the flat above, though it had bunk beds, wasn't as clean as I expected for the price, and had very low ceilings. I assume it had been a cellar converted into living accommodation. Cristian was always there when we needed him, and we needed him a lot. He was very polite, but unfortunately I won't book with him again. Good luck, Cristian, and please improve the accommodation. We may come from Eastern Europe, but we pay with the same euro banknotes as people from Central and Western Europe.

We’ve been coming with a group for many years. It’s a great place for the price, close to lots of ski resorts.
