The views are beautiful, the location is lovely, and the people are friendly. But our room was in pretty bad shape and the facilities weren’t great, so it felt overpriced. The hotel next door, where you have breakfast, seems like a better option. There was only one plug socket, the sink plug was stuck and took force to remove, and the door pegs were broken. I haven’t seen a TV like that in a long time. The shower needs replacing, and the shelf above the pillows is a bad idea. There was a lot of noise in the morning, and not much parking.

We spent a week here for a ski holiday, with the nearby Gerlitzen ski center only about 500m from the house. The room was clean when we arrived and got serviced every day, and the balcony view was fantastic. The staff were super nice and flexible, even with special requests. Breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast was a very nice continental buffet with plenty of choice, but dinner wasn’t as good. It was delicious most of the time, though the portions were much too small and left us hungry after a long day skiing. The bathroom was the only other small issue: it was tiny and a bit uncomfortable, and the toilet smelled a little, probably due to plumbing problems. It wasn’t a big deal, but worth mentioning. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it for the price. We might come back next year.

Great lake views with the Julian Alps towering in the distance, plus a nice location, good breakfast, and friendly staff.

The place is in a charming spot, which makes it a shame that my stay wasn’t pleasant. The spring mattresses pressed against my back, so I had to sleep on towels to keep from feeling the metal against my bones. I also wasn’t expecting the toilet to be outside the room.

A small but lovely room, recently renovated and tastefully furnished. The lake view is great too. Definitely recommend it : )
